I got 2 Lecee-Neville alternators rebuilt for my '83 Wanderlodge RV. These alternators are no longer available new, so I was very glad that Auto Electric was able to rebuild them. When I put the first one in service (the second is for a spare) I soon noticed that although the voltage was holding steady at 14.1V the amperage was swinging wildly from 0 to 40 amps. I brought the RV to Auto Electric where Blaine looked at it. Of course it was only varying the amps by +/-5 while he was there, He adjusted the voltage and sent me on my way.
