AutoNation Collision Center Columbus

I'm writing this for ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY: I had repairs done to my 2013 Volkswagen Golf R in August of 2020. I was sent here by USAA when a tree branch fell on the rear driver side panel/roof. Autonation fixed it relatively quick which was great, as I was on the trail and on the middle of a cycle. It looked good. They offer a warranty on their work, at their network of shops, which does provide some peace of mind. My issue lies in the quality of work. The excess Bondo they used on my car/not sure what else? Only lasted a few years, and I've never again been stationed near one of their locations. Now I have a giant rusted area where they did their work. They also followed the basic guidelines of applying the clear coat ~1/4" into the door jam, however didn't take into consideration that

SCAM ARTISTS! If USAA sends you here following an accident, know that they are in cahoots and are going to screw you over. A moron backed out of a parking space without looking behind him and slammed square in the middle of my husband's passenger side doors. Clearly at fault, his insurance, USAA sent us here for the estimate. When the estimate is completed, it lists everything from the headlights to the rear bumper effectively "totalling" our perfectly driving car. It's been some time now, between holidays and debating what to do. We talked with USAA about the estimate listing so many things not caused by the accident in question and they said we could reach out to the shop and they would do the same, to figure out if there was a better, more accurate estimate. The collision center at Auto Nation did a great job on my 2025 van! I was worried about paint match as my van color is a new one for the 2025 Honda Odyssey’s, but it looks amazing. They were also great with timing and dealing with the insurance company of the party responsible for fixing the damages. Definitely would recommend!

Manager is was very rude to me today. First time he acknowledged damage they caused came to pick up today . He acknowledged the dent they cause but only offered to do a coat of paint to smooth then denied damage to my hood that was previously acknowledged and said unless I pay him it won't be fixed. Plus one part looked like paint was gone he said we didn't go right their. Mind you IT WAS WAX but instead of looking he didn't want to take accountability and just look to say oh its wax and wipe it. RECIEVED MY CAR BACK DIRTY AGAIN. MIND YOU ALL MY CAR WAS IN THE SHOP THE PAST MONTH . THE FIRST TIME IT WAS 2 WEEKS PICKED IT UP SATURDAY FROM HYUNDAI SIDE BROUGHT BACK THAT MONDAY AND JUST PICKED UP TODAY AND BOTH TIMES CAR WAS DIRTY . FIRST TIME RALPH WAS NICE AND TODAY HE JUST WAS NASTY TO ME.

I had my rear bumper partially come off on the driver’s side while driving to Fort Benning, GA for a military graduation. I was worried the entire bumper might detach completely on the road. Thankfully, David at AutoNation Collision Center Columbus was incredible. He provided a quick and effective temporary fix that gave me peace of mind for the weekend. Thanks to his help, I was able to enjoy this special moment with my Trainee without stress and safely make it back home to handle the full repair later.
