I regret not writing this review earlier. About 9 months ago, I purchased a vehicle from Autopits Canada. The car was certified and listed as “fully loaded.” On the very first day of purchase (May 29), the yellow check engine light appeared. The next day I checked the error codes — P0014 and P0015 (camshaft position timing over-advanced). I contacted an Autopits representative and asked what it was. They said it was most likely a sensor and replaced it for free, which I appreciate. However, the light appeared again. I decided to get second opinions from other mechanics, and they told me the issue was a bad timing chain. The estimated replacement cost was very high — mostly around $3,000 or more. Since owning this car, I have consulted multiple mechanics in Niagara and Kitchener, and they

I would never recommend this shop to anyone, especially women. I brought my car in for a safety inspection. This is a beautiful, well-maintained car — no rust, brand new shocks — and it passed a safety just three months ago. First, they called me and said the car was done and it only needed front brake pads. Fine. Then five minutes later, when I walked in to pick it up, suddenly I’m handed a $3,000 estimate claiming I need brakes, calipers, rotors, pads, windshield wipers, tires, shoes, drums, and even a clutch. The story completely changed the moment I arrived. It felt dishonest and predatory. I immediately took the car to another mechanic for a second safety inspection and showed him their $3,000 breakdown. After inspecting the vehicle, he told me outright that they were trying to get mo

Your reply just proves my point. You keep changing your story. First it was “only front pads.” Five minutes later it became a $3,000 list of brakes, calipers, rotors, drums, shoes, wipers, tires and a clutch. Now suddenly it’s not worn pads — it’s a “seized RF caliper.” The explanation keeps evolving depending on what suits you. That is not transparency. That is backtracking. Bringing up how I transported my vehicle is a complete deflection. Whether it was towed or moved with a service plate — exactly like you used — has absolutely nothing to do with the legitimacy of your estimate. It was moved legally for a second opinion. The fact that you’re focusing on that instead of defending your diagnosis says everything. The clutch comment is another distraction. Owning a clutch kit does not

I’ve had my cars serviced at Auto Pits multiple times over the last 7+ years. They always do a great job, at a fair price. They’ve always been very honest with me about what my car needs, and how urgent the need is; and always make sure I understand the issue, and the cost, before proceeding with any work. As long as I have a car, and their business exists, they will always be my ‘Go To’ Garage.

Their prices are excessively high, and they lack expertise in their work. If you wish to be deceived regarding repairs, this is the place to go. The control arm and ball joint cost $198.00 at Hyundai. However, I was billed $1050 for the part and labor, while Hyundai quoted me $519.00—what a scam! It is advisable to compare prices elsewhere. They communicate in Spanish to mislead you, ensuring you do not comprehend.
