Date: Dec 19, 2025, (~1:45 PM) I visited this location only to have an old car battery tested (I did not make a purchase here). The battery was tested, confirmed to be dead, and I was instructed to leave it at the store, which I did. However, no one mentioned that surrendering the battery could be used to recover the core charge from a battery purchased earlier that same day at another AutoZone location. While the testing itself was handled fine, the lack of explanation about core return options felt incomplete. Customers should be informed when surrendering a battery may entitle them to a core credit, especially when the battery is retained by the store. This seems like a training or communication issue rather than intentional misconduct, but clearer guidance would improve the custome

After going to another Auto Zone location and having a truly awful experience multiple times, I came here and Tracy immediately fixed my issue. He was clear, helpful, kind and quick in helping me. Moving forward I’ll come to this location just to know that I’ll experience his professionalism.

The Autozone in Hyde Park is awesome. Humberto, Dominican gentleman, was so kind and knowledgeable. I had no idea what I was asking for and he came with me to the car, explained everything, and got me exactly what I needed. Car stuff is stressful (especially for a woman) and he made it all so easy. He should get a raise!!

The staff is extremely efficient, helpful and so, so nice. I was able to get in and out quick. Shout out to Emily and the guys for helping me!

We brought spark plugs I feel auto zone should have told if you buy the do you need to gap it verse buying the expensive one don’t need to be gapped. Now we have to take out the spark plugs out. It’s a very hard job to do dam I’m mad
