I came in after a day trip with my son because my battery light came on while I was driving and I knew that probably wasn’t good. I asked one of the guys working if they could run a test and tell me what was going on and he did(didn’t get his name but he was a very sweet young man with black hair). Once my alternator and starter showed as fail he said he wasn’t extremely knowledgeable of cars since he had gotten his first one recently and recommended I speak with the other guy working. I was so glad he was not only honest, but also didn’t shrug me off and genuinely seemed to care and want to help us. I waited for him to finish up with the customer he was helping and then explained why his coworker sent me over(his name was Wes). He explained the results of the test they ran and offered sug

A couple of weeks ago, I came in looking for a new set of wiper blades for my vehicle. An employee helped me find a set and then offered to install them. After about five minutes of trying to jam in a piece that clearly didn’t fit, he realized he had the wrong size blades. He went back inside to grab another set. When he returned and put them on, they fit—but there was about a half-inch gap. I asked why it looked like that, as I’ve always known wiper blades to fit snugly. He reassured me that they were the correct blades and sent me on my way. Fast forward to this week: I’m in the middle of a cross-country road trip when we hit a rainstorm—and one of my wipers flies off in the middle of the interstate and hits the car behind me. Took my car to AutoZone yesterday because my check engine light was on. Wes, an employee there was SUPER helpful and very kind in helping me understand what was going on and how the issue could possibly affect my car. He didn’t try to pressure me into buying anything and even took the time to show and explain on my vehicle the issue. I truly appreciate the kindness and knowledge he displayed and I will be sure to go back to this store in the future.
