Avant Garde Wheels

Cheap overpriced Chinese wheels with poor quality finish and centercaps that do not work. Rep Brandon was very pushy when I was asking questions and ordering the wheels - he told me there have never been any problems with the center caps and they don’t require any extra maintenance. I ordered the wheels for $7500. When they arrived, the powder coating immediately started chipping off in less than a week and all the center caps filled up with moisture. I submitted warranty work on all of it - the wheels were repowdercoated and look a little better now but I’m on my third pair of center caps that keep failing in less than a week. Pushy salesmen, Overpriced wheels made in china, awful quality, these guys do not know what they’re doing. See all of my pictures, these guys are a joke

I bought a set of custom forged Avant Garde F221 wheels from Josh. He was very understanding of my needs and replied to emails and phone calls promptly. They forgot to ship the valve stem adapters with the wheels though and when they shipped it out the package never came, which resulted in me buying adapters locally here, which cost me another $60. Other than that they were great to work with.

I bought custom 3 piece wheels for 1 vehicle and a second set of 1 piece wheels from this company, both sets had finish issues, ended up having to have both sets completely disassembled, stripped and powdered coat within the first year of ownership due to peeling and flaking. The powder coater told me that the etching process they use is sub par and always ends the same way, flaking/peeling. I reached out to the local distributor I purchased the wheels from and he said he would reach out to the owner, after reaching out multiple times with no expectation, there was no response or offer to do anything. First the wheels come difference size, they did provide shipping labels and send the correct once. The wheels are marketed to have factory like paint with similar process that’s just not true. They are sprayed in a booth this is nothing compared to powder coating and it will chip even if you look at it the wrong way. Finally the cherry on the cake. The wheels can’t be balanced. With brand new Michelin pilot 4s the wheels still vibrate after having them balances by two professional shops. Shame on you.

Bought a car with ag wheels already on them and they were cracked on the inner barrels. Alexx hooked me up nicely, I was still deciding wether it was worth saving them or buying new ones and he helped me with options and checked up on me when I would get busy. After purchase of the barrels he checked up and kept me up on wether or not they had been shipped. Highly recommend AG wheels
