Avery Tire & Automotive - a Main Street Auto shop

Went for an alignment, the alignment was done correctly and the staff was professional. I did have one issue, I informed the front desk and lead mechanic that the car has adjustable camber bolts, but that apparently didn’t reach the technician. The initial alignment showed -0.4° on one front wheel and -1.1° on the other - a 0.7° cross-camber difference, which is excessive when adjustability is available and can affect steering balance. It had to go back on the rack to correct it, which added about an hour to my visit. Not a major problem in the end, just something that could’ve been avoided with better communication. Will return again!

I WALKED IN expecting to make an appointment to have a headlight replaced and the girls at the desk said OH WE CAN DO THAT RIGHT NOW. I was VERY happy. Avery has always come through for me. I have lived in Newland for 5 years and would never consider going elsewhere. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

I had an amazing experience at this shop thanks to Dakota. From the moment I walked in, Dakota was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what my car needed—no pressure, no upselling, just honest and genuine help. The service was quick, the price was fair, and my car is running perfectly now. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about both the customer and the quality of their work, but Dakota definitely does. I’ll absolutely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

I was visiting from out of town and had an unexpected mechanical issue. They were able to get me in and out in the same day; and at a very reasonable price! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

The entire Avery Tire team looks out for me. They have always been kind and careful and helpful. I was planning on going out of town on Tuesday, ran into an issue on Sunday evening, they hooked me up Monday and made sure I was ready for the road. And may I say they were pretty slammed on Monday but they acted like it was no big deal to take care of me and I wasn’t putting anybody out. Love Dakota and his team, and Ms Shirley is the best.❤️
