Avis Car Rental

Rented a car online to attend funeral. Arrived to pick up car and was offered the only car available an ecar. 46 percent charge. Was told it would make it there and back. I went out into the desert with no chargers available for 50 miles. Had to limp mode to the closest casino that does not have a pay option. They give you a charge for free. Catch is the to get a qtr charge you have to wait 3 hrs 14 hrs for a full charge. I got the juice I needed to make it to the closest Walmart which was another 24 miles away. These cars are not meant for a location that doesn't have plug in stations readily available. All this as a single female traveler. Never ever again.

Given defective vehicle, got stranded, roadside assistance offered no solution that wouldn’t have taken an entire day out of our vacation. Our vehicle had no spare tire and a broken emergency air pump. Manager offered no compensation or simple apology. 24 days after the vehicle was returned he attempted to charge us extra. Dishonest and deceitful. Stay Away!

I always come here when renting a vehicle. Good customer service. Be aware that they close at 5. Just call and you can return the car the next day.

Very very bad customer service and rude , NEVER going back + told me on the phone 105$ and in person told me 175 $ FOR 2 DAYS?!?!?

Renting in Albuquerque was a good experience, but don't go to the Avis in Santa Fe. We had a technical problem with the car 6 days into the use of it. The manager there was just plain rude and abrupt. He also gave us an inferior car which was dirty on the inside & outside. He could have asked us to come back while he cleaned up the car, but didn't. The drop of at Denver International Airport was easy & flawless.
