Avis Car Rental

THIS AVIS OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED- We recently began renting at the Apopka location because it's closer to our house. After this last rental we will be returning to rent at the Maitland location. We reserved the our vehicle months in advanced, only to arrive with no option for the car we booked. Staff claims 18 cars were taken away earlier that day. Well why not leave the car that had an open reservation? So they offer us 3 other cars- ALL were dirty. We ended up choosing the one that was least dirtiest of them all. We drove next door to the car wash and cleaned the car up because of how filthy it was- no staff onsite to address the issue. We are given until 630pm to return the car but was threatened to be charged more for it being past 530pm when we were told 630pm. Receipt comes vi

Today was a hectic morning already. Trying to leave for our road trip and our truck AC went down. Came straight to Avis/Budget and Edgar helped us quickly because he saw we had to repack the rental from our truck to get on the road on a decent time. He was very kind and understanding with the whole situation. He was very warming and kind. He knew how to talk us down and make us smile and like I said being hot and aggravated in Florida heat lord. Thank you Edgar for everything !!!

Worst service possible. The only thing this place cares about is maximizing profit and stepping on the little people I seen them literally """literaly"" with my own eyes say I dont care about your reservation it 300 for a week she paying 850 for 4 days it canceled .....now for my complaint it shouldn't have a phone you refuse to answer them,then put on hold and left there till it goes to automated system.It shouldn't take a couple hours to renew your car rental for the week if this day so busy that maybe you need a actual secretary to answer calls and not be bothered with your horrible service that offer. DO NOT RENT HERE! I made a reservation for a moving truck 10 days in advance. Showed up the day of and was told they did not have a truck available for me. Girl behind counter tried to blame it on a “computer glitch”, but it was incompetence. No other locations had an available truck so I had to rent a truck last minute with U-haul. A week later, my credit card was charged $150 no show fee from Budget. I called Edgar Rodriguez, the owner of this location, and he said there was nothing he can do and I would have to call corporate to get a refund because this happens all of the time. THIS LOCATION IS A SCAM & UNPROFESSIONAL, RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Armana is the most elegant customer service representative that I have encountered in quite some time. She made me feel like I was winning the lottery. I will rent all my vehicles from this location.
