Avis Car Rental

Outstanding service at the Avis Rental Car counter at Augusta Airport thanks to Anteonia. She was extremely polite, friendly, and professional from start to finish. The check-in process was fast and smooth, and the car return was just as easy. Both times, we were in and out quickly with no delays or confusion. Anteonia’s attitude and efficiency turned what is usually a routine transaction into a genuinely pleasant experience. This is positively outrageous customer service done right. Avis is fortunate to have her representing their brand.

My husband and I have always booked through Avis, but this location is the WORST. The first guy who helped us get a car was super nice and we had no problems at first. When we returned the car they charged us $125 because there was dog hair that came off our clothes. We never had animals in the car. Plus the car was already dirty when we got it. We ended up having to rent another car a few days after we returned it. And the car they gave us was constantly having lights pop up on the dashboard for things like oil pressure and other things. My husband took it back to see if they could change the car out and they said they had no cars and that we could take it to a mechanic which I believe is actually their job. And the girl he dealt with was not very nice and had no customer service manners

These ratings are spot on. I’m an Avis preferred member but selecting a car using app doesn’t work here. Five people in line when I got in…it’s been 30 mins and I’m still 2 back. One person working. Awful customer service! So much for expedited service. Then I got the car and it was unwashed and had major scrapes and dents. When I asked how to document attendant said write them down on the contract and he would sign off. So an hour later and I still haven’t left the lot!

"I opened a customer service case against this transaction." After I returned the car, I didn't receive the close contract confirmation email. So I called the customer service 3 times for 2 days to make sure to get the email. If I don't get it by today I have to call tomorrow morning. When I asked the customer service they said it was the AVIS counter in Augusta Airport counter's fault. It was a really bad experience.

Customer service was awful, and the guy answered 3 calls while trying to take care of me. Very very annoying.😒 I asked for a decent car before he ran my card. This is what I got. Had to go home and clean it out stunk so bad... and stains everywhere...I won't be renting from them again. This was the airport. I boo with Budget. They were closed. The sign on counter said to go to Avis counter, and I'm so disappointed. Had I not needed it to go home, I definitely would have canceled.
