I had an amazing experience with this company. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made the entire process incredibly smooth from start to finish. The vehicle was spotless, comfortable, and in perfect condition—exactly what you need after an exhausting business trip. Pick-up and drop-off were quick and hassle-free, and I really appreciated the team’s professionalism and willingness to answer all my questions as I had to deal with multiple problems with other car rentals in the past. I will definitely be renting from them again on my next visit to Decatur. Highly recommend!

I reserved a car at Avis Decatur, Il airport. I was coming to Decatur because of a death in the family. About 30 minutes a Avis representative called me to tell me that the car which was reserved was no longer available. Avis offer me a SUV but I would have to pay $20.00 extra a day. I told the representative because it was their error I should not have to pay anything. The representative told me he would be unable to give me the SUV without me paying the upgrade. This is very unsatisfactory.

I rented a vehicle to travel from Texas to Illinois for Christmas. When I picked up the vehicle in Texas the inside was not the cleanest but the outside was filthy. A day after dropping off the vehicle I got the final bill with a $300 misc charge. I never received a email or phone call saying what I was being charged for. I called the Avis corporate number only to find out it was a cleaning fee. I tried to dispute it with the representative but only to hear " there's nothing I can do about it". I've used many other rentals companies and have never had this issue. Not sure if I will ever rent from Avis again.

Rented a car and had multiple undisclosed or misrepresented charges added on to the final cost. I disputed one and didn’t bother to dispute the other because I was tired. Please look at your bill, they will assume they can pull on over you even if it is $30.00. I called corporate and sent them the video. Occurred on 2/27/2026 at 6pm.

The guys always take care of me. I like using the airport for the convenience that I can park my car and pick up my rental for company travel. You can't find better customer service anywhere!
