Avis Car Rental

Not a good experience. Despite reserving the rental almost a week ahead and receiving multiple confirmations, when i went to pick up the car the man assisting me not only couldn’t locate the reservation he stated they didn’t have any rentals available. Apparently there is some miscommunication between the inventory online and at the actual location. What a way to start vacation! I was even given the option to prepay online I’m so glad i waited until i get to the store.

I picked an employee up from here early in the morning like 5;30/6 am she arrived to work on time with no problems. But she reported me to Uber and guess what my account was deactivated. So never do business here how you need a ride and report someone who helped you. And she reported Me Because the car didn’t match you still rode and you got to work safely.

I had the worst experience I've every had with a rental car service with Avis. I booked a rental car online and pre-paid. Received a phone call the next day that they did not have any cars at any of the locations. I asked why does it not reflect that in the system and was told the systems have been glitching. When I tried to call customer service 1-800# the agent couldn't give me a refund because her computer froze. She had me to call back. I was told that the refund would take 5 - 7 days. This totally has thrown my vacation off. Trying to figure out a work around and very disappointed.

This location use to be my place to go to. Covid came and the airport is where I started going. This past weekend we rented a vehicle and returned it at noon on Sunday. The two Duncanville, TX locations are owned by the same person. They have charged me for an extra day even though they had their vehicle on their property on time. Never again will they have my business or others that I know.

This was, by far, the worst rental car experience I have ever had. Upon pickup, the vehicle reeked of smoke and cigars to the point it transferred to my clothing and belongings. I had back-to-back client meetings and no option to return immediately. After my meetings, I attempted to exchange the vehicle—making 32 calls to reach the Duncanville location—only to be told there was “nothing” they could do and that I was “lucky” to have the vehicle at all. Even when I was told another car was available, I was refused the exchange because it “needed servicing” and they would not make it available, despite me being only five minutes away before closing. The odor was so overwhelming that my husband paid for a professional detailing, which didn’t fix it. On the final day, I returned the vehicle
