Avis Car Rental

Avis associate went above and beyond to help us solve an issue. This was with regards to a questionable warning light in a rental from DEN Airport, that no one at the Roadside Assistance phone could solve or help with! We switched out cars here in Gunnison and didn't have to worry about the warning light issue! I was highly satisfied with this Avis location! Thank you, thank you!

I had a smooth experience. Hours of operation are limited at this small airport, but that didn't impact me. I was upgraded to a larger SUV which was helpful. The outside could've been cleaner, but for March in Colorado I wasn't going to be picky.

Beware. Location will not answer the phone during business hours — I’ve tried multiple time over two weeks to confirm a simple after-hours pickup for an upcoming reservation. They do not even have the courtesy or professionalism to respond to simple requests… even with Avis corporate intervention! I am in Presidents Club (top tier loyalty) and am deeply concerned and appalled by the poor treatment. Shame on this location and Avis customer service for discounting my reasonable requests for help.

***update 3/5/24 *** Avis customer service stepped in and refunded me the difference between my booking and what Molly tried to charge us. Big thanks to the people with common sense working behind the scenes. This service was atrocious. The car we rented broke down 2 days ago due to mechanical issues. We have still not heard back from Avis about getting a new rental car or a refund. We were stranded for 6 hours before a tow company came, and the tow company is now unreachable as well. Avis I would love to be contacted ASAP, I have been calling multiple times a day and reached out line however have not been able to reach any help. Edit/update: It is now the next day. Still stranded. Still nothing. I even emailed the address suggested by Autumn below yesterday, no response. This place is horrible.
