Avis Car Rental

I would give zero stars if I could! I prepaid for a large passenger van and went to pick it up and watched them drive it off the lot to send to someone rose. They then threatened to cancel my whole rental or give me 2 suvs instead with no discount and also cost me over an hour of my time to get it all set up. Then we were lied to about the returning of the vehicles which cost us an extra day rental for both of those cars. So in the end their mess up cost us extra time, money, drivers, gas and stress

I have a reservation that was supposed to be for yesterday but it was switched to today. The man that called me was rude saying we just made a reservation online without giving him time to find a car and after reading all these reviews I am very concerned. They already have my money. I really hope to come back and edit with a good experience. 🤞🏻

If I can could give a negative 5 stars I would. Dude at the counter was horrible I'll never rent from them ! I went there previously and had such a great experience and then yesterday and today was just terrible. He was not nice at all and the reservation line didnt help they was just as useless. Tell me I can make a reservation but no guarantee I'll get a car.. so what the point of making it. Why reserve if you dont have accurate numbers

Scam! Dont reserve or use the Avis rental in Jackson Michigan. Friend reserved car and the man at the desk didnt have any cars and was very rude about it! Didn’t even apologize. Whatever that store front does, it’s not about renting cars.

I am posting this review on behalf of my mother who rented a vehicle. I had a very disappointing experience with Avis . The car I was given had numerous issues: • The brakes were squeaking, which raised serious safety concerns. • Dashboard lights went out intermittently, making it difficult to monitor essential information while driving. • The lift gate didn’t work, which was frustrating when loading and unloading items. • One of the headlights was not working, creating a hazard for nighttime driving. • The car was overdue for an oil change, which made me question the overall maintenance of their vehicles.
