Avis Car Rental

Disappointed by Avis one too many times. Husband scheduled a rental, however one of the ladies working at this location gave our rental paperwork and car to another customer by accident which caused issues with picking up a rental car for ourselves. We were promised 1 day off of our rental price to accommodate for the trouble, however when we finally received the receipt after our trip, we were charged an extra 4 hours instead of and no promised compensation. My husband and I also filled up right before dropping the car off, yet we were charged over $20 for a refueling fee. The lady at the counter threw away our remaining paperwork as well. AVIS / BUDGET had several cars available and after several attempts by the staff, whom were very helpful, the system would not permit them to process the payment. So here I am stuck at a small municipal airport with no car.

I had to go to my fiance funeral . I set up the car rental made sure I had everything I needed the correct card a licensed driver everything . I spoke with corporate customer services . And I was denied the rental . Because the location decided the card they will and won't accept . The company accepts debit cards and they tell you that it's accepted but when you go to get the car they tune you away . I don't think this should be allowed . Or customer service should tell you about it , not tell you that you have everything and your good to go

Binghamton airport Avis was easy to find. The staff was friendly. The car was decent and clean. The return is a little confusing because return spots aren't identified.

Got here on time. They didn’t have what I rented ready and had to wait a hour. I also rented it 6 months ago. You would think you make sure what people rent months prior you would have one and ready! Not happy at all! So to ad to this story! They did not even have when I paid for AT ALL! I had made the reservation in January. Got there they did not have a L size vehicle! They tried giving me a GMC Acadia. An L vehicle is not a GMC Acadia. I explain that to lady she gave me attitude and said well it’s a seven seater that wasn’t the point and then proceeded to ask me what I needed it for which is none of her business.
