Avis Car Rental

I had an incredible experience with Avis in La Jolla! I realized after returning my car that I’d left my AirPods inside, and I was already on my way back home to Sacramento. Tyler and Joe both went completely above and beyond—Tyler personally found them in the car and then actually called me to let me know. Then later the same week, Joe shipped them to me at his own expense! You rarely see that kind of integrity and genuine care in customer service these days. I’m so grateful for Tyler and Joe for their help and will definitely be renting from this location again. By the way the rental and drop off process was swift and easy with an almost new, clean, and very well performing vehicle. Highly recommend Avis, La Jolla and you’ll likely meet Tyler on a weekend or Joe during the week.

I started picking up my rentals from Avis La Jolla after realizing how much better the experience is compared to other locations I had used before. Joe has been a big reason why. He is genuinely helpful, professional, and makes the entire process feel easy from start to finish. He takes the time to make sure everything is handled correctly and efficiently, and I never feel rushed or pressured. Each time, he has been able to get me into a very clean, well maintained Avis rental smoothly with no hassle. The cars are always in great condition and ready to go. Because of the consistent service and how seamless Joe makes it, I now specifically choose the La Jolla location every time.

Best Avis experience that I've ever had! There was a mishap that happened with the car (it wouldn't start the day I was leaving for the airport) and after a ton of back and forth with customer service, I decided to see if I could get the rep that initialized the rental. Joe was fantastic, he could see the incorrect charges that were made, told me to call back CS and even offered to be on the call with me as I was addressing the problem. Service was quick and easy. Very transparent. And I will 10000% be renting from this location in my future SD travels. Thank you!
