I truly do not want to give any stars, This is my first time ever renting from Avis And I will honestly say I wont ever do it again. We went to the one at 1646 Barataria Blvd, Marrero, LA. We rented the vehicle online paid with a CC it took the payment as we paid in advance for the full week received the contract information and went there the next day or the day after. Once we got there the woman behind the counter was absolutely dismissive , rude and seemed like a miserable individual all around. She was also this way with the person on the phone she was speaking to when we entered the facility , as she told him they did not have the vehicle he was asking about when he asked her did she know when it would be back in she had no idea, no idea about her vehicle inventory either. While in Harvey to host my daughter's baby shower, my SUV transmission took a dump. I immediately reserved a SUV at this location. Here's my review. Ease of reservation: Good Appearance of facility: A bit run down. Customer service at counter: Just ok. No issues; just not the friendliest Vehicle quality: Good Vehicle cost: Higher than normal

The lady at the front desk was quick, concise, and no BS. I was in and out in under 5 minutes for pick up and drop off. The car was clean and brand new. The price was 25% less than Enterprise. I’m never going anywhere else. This was the best rental experience I’ve had in the greater New Orleans area.

This is the 2nd Ive attempted to rent a vehicle from this location with a reservation made on the first one 2 weeks prior and the 2nd one 2 days and I received a phone call right before i go to pick it them up there are no vehicles and probably wont have any that day. Along with the fact the two ladies that work in there are rude and not very kind. Its sad they are allowed to operate like this. Never again

Came all the way here for a reservation booked for them to say they don’t have any cars available till Monday and she keeps answering the phone while I’m talking to her
