Brandon at Avis provided outstanding service from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth. I even received a free upgrade, which was a great surprise and really appreciated. Despite seeing some poorly written reviews beforehand, my experience was the complete opposite—top-tier customer service and a genuinely helpful attitude. Brandon turned this into one of the best rental car experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend working with him if you can!

Soo sad to not rent from them again. The lady inside was great but the cleaning guy was my nightmare. The car I was given had yogurt or ice cream stains in the backseat but it’s laid back New Orleans so I figured no one is concerned about things like that, its clean enough . But when I returned the car with tiny pieces of grass that come off of the bottom of your shoes when you get in and out of the car, I was charged with a cleaning fee. I told them any thing out of the ordinary I would have cleaned, but that this was normal and expected; but to no avail. So I guess that’s fine, I will not be a return customer and I guess you guys at Avis behind Target keep ensuring that you don’t get repeat customers by tricking them out of as much as you can the first go around.

Called the day before our reservation to push back our pick up time from 9am to noon due to changes in our schedule. Woman on the phone said that the reservation was changed and even if we showed up a bit late it would be fine. Received a phone call at 9:45am the day of the reservation with a man asking where we were. When we explained the reservation was changed he proceeded to tell us he did not have that on file and that he was giving our car to another customer but would have an electric car ready for us with no extra charge. When we received our car, the front window was cracked and the inside smelled like urine. When our concerns were brought up he stated that there were no other cars available and that he doubted the care smelled like that due to it was just used by a regular renter

I can not for the life of me understand why the online website allows you to make a reservation if they don't have the vehicle available. This is literally false advertising and causes borderline distress. My husband was in need of a pick up truck while his was in the shop. We made the reservation online for the next day, only to find out that non of their locations had a pick up at all!!! Such a horrible business. Renters beware that an online reservation will not confirm the availability. Such a shame!!

They cancelled my reservation without communicating with me. Agent slipped that they were overbooked, which was the main reason for cancellation.
