Avis Car Rental

I made a reservation today, October 29th, at 10 am. When I arrived, they told me they didn't have my car and that I had to wait for a mechanic to arrive and repair the car they were going to give me. I tried to wait and see what would happen, since I was already there and had come from Haverhill, a 50-minute drive away. I waited for two hours and simply had to leave because the mechanic never arrived and they didn't fix the problem. Time here is too valuable to waste like that.

The worst car rental company and place I have ever seen in my life. They constantly rent vehicles with electronic or mechanical failures and no inspections. My vehicle broke down 10 minutes ago and I was left in the middle of the road. I almost had an accident. This company and this branch need to be inspected by the police in detail. The employees are very rude and never care about people's problems. If you are concerned about yourself and your loved ones, do not rent a car from this company. I am calling out to the authorities from here: Please check these types of places more closely, this negligence can lead to bigger disasters. Worst experience. I reserved a spot to rent a car for uber with them, and once I arrived they said, sorry, I don’t have a care. I came from 45 min away with an uber, and then go back again same way. I can’t see the point of having available spots for reservation, but not having the cars. U re not helping. Advice, avoid them. Better go at hertz !!

I'm starting at 2 for now. I just picked this up, and it's not starting great. I was asked to sign for the damages before the person at the counter or if I had ever looked at the car. The rear bumper had damage, and the car was covered in so much salt that there was no way to tell if there were damages. I am taking it for a work trip, so I don't care if it's clean, but this was excessive. Then I get in, and the right tail light warning light is on because a light in the middle is blown. After that, I saw that the gas was at 1/3 while marked as complete. So, if I didn't see that, I would have been responsible for filling it. This is the only place I could find with a “vehicle” for a big family. I hope my vehicle will be present in good working order and no damages. These reviews are not helping especially with picture evidence. If the experience goes will I’ll change it for no my expectations for good service and vehicle is none existent.
