Avis Car Rental

I have a van from them right now and I really really love how easy is was an no hassle. They were super nice and they really made is so less stressful. My car blew up so I was stressed going in there and I was really relieved at how they made it literally no biggie. Also I called to tell them I would be a little later dropping it off. They said no worries. I went to the punta gorda airport one and it was a nightmare. I highly recommend this location.

We were stranded up in Temple Terrace. Heading out of town to see family. I had called 4 rental agencies. They were not helpful. I got through to Carla at avis. She was very helpful with setting up a rental for us. We finally had gotten a tow truck to get us after 4 1/2 hrs if sitting. Got to avis, and Carla had the vehicle waiting for us. We made it to our destination thanks to Carla and the avis team.

I put in for a gas car and when I got there they gave me an electric suv, when I went back they gave me a hybrid van. The van looked like it was beaten with a hammer front back and both sides along with scraps and missing paint. Van did drive good but I would never rent a van that looked that bad to anyone. The person working when I picked up and dropped off acting like they could care less, I’ll have to think about ever renting there again

We had a big bunch of problems e the car we rented. Darren at Avis in Port Charlotte was magnet resolving the issues. Most impressed w him and Avis at this location.

If I could less I would. Had a car booked 3 months in advance and when I tried picking up they said it was unavailable. Not only did they not have it and was given an option of a smaller car at a way higher price but the spanish lady in the front desk had a terrible attitude about it. Will never use this place again.
