Avis Car Rental

Place is awful. Rented about 10 vehicles over the past 6 months for business. Cars are often dirty or wreak of pot. Policies and fees shift with each rental - and now out of nowhere I get a letter from Avis I'm Being billed $250 for damage to a car returned two weeks ago. No photos. No explanation. Thankfully, since this place has such a shady vibe we always shoot video around the car at pickup. Unlike other rental companies who take you around to inspect damage - here it's left to you! Be vigilant or you will get scammed. Done with this place - you get what you pay for - here on out I'll pay a little more for Enterprise. Also do not create an Avis account - waste of time. Avis has been a lifesaver since I lost my car due to an accident. Thank you Umer for your expertise, genuine concern and excellent customer service! This was my first experience with Avis and will be my go-to for car rental service in the future.

Unacceptable Experience — No Vehicles Available After Confirmed Reservation I reserved a vehicle for pickup today at 10:00 AM, and when I arrived, Avis had no vehicles available — despite my confirmed reservation through Uber. This is not the first time this has happened to me. It’s now the third time — once with Avis and twice with Hertz. Each time, I plan my schedule around these reservations, only to waste time, gas, and energy showing up for a vehicle that isn’t there. It’s completely unacceptable and unprofessional to confirm a reservation without guaranteeing the vehicle will actually be available. As a driver who depends on these rentals for work, this causes major disruptions to my income. I strongly urge Avis and Uber to fix this issue immediately — stop overbooking and mislea

They didn’t have the car I reserved, the car I got was not cleaned well, there is no key drop box visible anywhere upon returning the car. Nothing terrible but all around not good experience.

The worst rental I have ever used. They provide dirty, run-down cars and blame you if they brake down. After renting four vehicles, I am done with this place. Enterprise Rent-A-Car on the east side of town is a far better choice.
