Avis Car Rental

I hadn't needed to rent a car in years, so searched nearest place. When I called, the person said they had cars available. There was no wait when I arrived by Uber. I chose a sedan. Price was reasonable for 5 days. In no way did she pressure any upgrades. I would return the car in Saturday. She wrote on the paperwork that they close at 1 pm. Returning the car was effortless, without incident or surprises. This location is my goto in the future. Everyone there was courteous and professional.

Just had the worst experience of my life with this Avis location. We rented from them for a trip to Big Bend national park. When out near the park, we picked up a nail in the sidewall. Customer service said we needed to replace the tire and would be reimbursed when we returned the vehicle. Fast forward to today, the employees at the rental desk flat out refused to process the reimbursement. Threatened to throw us out of the office if we didn’t leave. Because of this experience I will never rent from Avis again. There are other rental car options in the area. Don’t use this location - they will take advantage of you and refuse to work to solve any problem you have.

Returning and leasing a car is quick. Front desk staff were supportive. Went to return my previous car and take a new one. Reserved full size car but there were no car available. They given same car which I returned back to me and asked to call next day to check if they have any car available. I tried to call them couple times but line always busy. Will contact them again and will update here how's the process goes by.

I had the best of the best experience with Sheela(The one who stands behind the glass shield). She is always welcoming and gives the best experience to her customers. Very and super rude Avis office, had confirmed reservation and I was told sorry we can't rent you a car. Do not waste your time with this wishy wash car rental office. Went to Hertz and got a better deal less $100 a week. It's a waste of time and money to deal with this office.
