Avis Car Rental

We were kind of concerned picking up our rental from here after we saw the reviews but we prayed hard that our rental would work out and it did! The lady at the counter was so kind to us and our car was great. I truly believe that majority of the time if you’re kind to people, they will be kind back! Try not to worry if you get a rental from here and if you’re worried, maybe try praying about it— it works!

I have rented cars here many times, the guys are always friendly and the cars have always been clean. I have also dropped off here many times after doing 1-way rental from LGA to Setauket. Simple, no frills.

On the multiple occasions I have visited this location Carlos has been extremely customer focused and done everything he could to help me out with changes and extensions to my rental. He’s also provided guidance on how to get fair pricing. I highly recommend using this location for your rental needs.

This car rental agency needs employees who are better trained with proper customer service and communication skills. I dealt with Carlos and he has no manners. He was so rude and the issue stemmed from him not being forthcoming with information which would have been useful to know. At the end of the conversation, he recommended that we not do business anymore even though I’ve been a loyal customer for months despite his poor attitude. I DO NOT recommend this car rental agency at all.

Was instructed by Avis to go to nearest location to swap out a car after a accident. They refuse to do the exchange and left me no choice but to drive the badly damaged vehicle back to the airport 20 miles away. No concerns about the safety of their customers or willingness to honor their commitments with Avis. Even gave attitude when I said thank you for not helping me. Poor customer service
