Avis Car Rental

Exceedingly unprofessional business practices. My daughter and I rented a car for 5 days and upon retrieval of the car Miss “Cynthia” did not uphold her duties of officially and correctly stating the procedure of renting at Avis. My 21 year old daughter was advised by Miss Cynthia to register the car under her name and upon reviewing my daughter’s drivers license; with her own eyes continued the transaction. What she failed to make note was that if you are “underage”, meaning under 25, you will get charged an ADDITIONAL $27/day on top of whatever you had already financed at the beginning of the transaction. Following the return of the rental, Miss Cynthia rebuttaled the fact that she failed to inform us the rate would be double. I anybody if informed of that would deny it and try another o

Sonia was so helpful!! Don’t really understand why these reviews are so negative!! But we had a good experience and we even dropped the car off early The day before while the storewas closed and it got checked in in a timely manner!!! Didn’t even have to worry about anything!!!!

I had an appointment to rent a car at 10005 S Highway 6 Sugar Land TX 77498, but when I went to check in, they took the money from my credit card first and then delivered the car. When I received the car, I checked it and saw that the car was scratched and scratched. The tires were low on air, so I refused to accept and wanted to change to another vehicle. They said they didn't have one and canceled my vehicle contract. Then I checked my bank card and saw that they took $112.94 from my card. While my car rental contract for 7 days totaled $501.

⚠️ Beware of Avis Sugar Land ⚠️ This location is a complete scam. I was charged over $2,000 without explanation, and I’m still waiting on additional charges they keep trying to push through. They take your money without reason and do not provide honest service. This feels like nothing more than a money grab. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location. Big-time scammers.

I have been renting from this location for over 10 years and they are very compassionate. I recommend them to all my family that visit Houston.
