Avis Car Rental

We have rented or attempted to rent twice from this location. They never have cars. I booked online and received 3 confirmations, went there and they didn't have a car for me in which I prepaid. Manny's communication with us was terrible or just lack thereof. Instead of maybe offering to assist in locating another vehicle in the area he told me he wouldn't have anything until maybe 1:30, although i couldn't wait at the time, I didnt get a call for a car, no communication at all, when i calles in the late afternoon he told me to call avis reservations to cancel and get a refund. He should not be the face of this Avis locafion

Absolutely horrible. I paid for the prepaid gas on return and they refused to honor it. When I asked the clerk about it, basically asking him to look into it he just said “well I already closed this out, here’s the keys the gas station is down the road”. They also said if I brought the vehicle back a day earlier there would be a discount on the price which they refused to uphold. There are far better rental companies out there, I’ve never had this issue with Enterprise or Alamo

I felt comfotable driving the car, BUT the front desk reception was poor. When I asked about using the bathroom before starting my trip, I was told to go to the end of the Plaza and use Del Taco's bathroom which requires a code entry. Charges on my receipt were inflated and not mentioned beforehand.

Extremely friendly and caring staff. Very helpful and kind. All was very clean . Smooth ride. The last time I dropped off at LAX , the staff was very rude, didn't speak to me and threw my receipt on my windshield and walked away. THIS TIME, the staff was so kind, friendly and very nice. Even noticed I had been charged for gas in error and refunded me on the spot. Shuttle driver was very cool too. The only reason this isnt a 5 star is because of the cost. Otherwise EXCELLENT SERVICE
