Avis Car Rental

I booked in advance, hoping for a smooth experience, but when I arrived, no one was available to provide a car. I was reassured multiple times that it would just take “10 more minutes” for assistance, but after waiting nearly an hour with no resolution, I decided to go across the street to Enterprise. They were quick and professional, which was a relief. It’s disappointing when things don’t go as planned, especially when you’ve made arrangements in advance.

Good cars and helpful staff! You turn off Main Street and drive almost all the way down the hill. Avis is on the right.

Returned my one-way rental to here. (picked up at SFO). I just dropped my keys and left. Parking lot agent at SFO messed up my rental contract. I thought I’d be on the phone a long time with Avis corporate trying to untangle the mess. Instead Mimi fixed the problem and called me to explain. Fantastic service! I’ve been renting from Avis worldwide for years and Walnut Creek is the best! I’ve seen Mimi washing cars in freezing temperatures. Most locations just give you dirty cars.

Worst experience i have ever had, even though I have rented there before. I picked a car from the airport and filled it up with gas in Concord Costco with no receipt, when I returned it they requested a receipt that I didn't have but charged me almost $20 even gas gauge indicates full. Never ever go back there.
