Avis Car Rental

I’ve been renting here for almost 5 years now and I have to say the new manager has turned this place around. He is fabulous! A large selection of cars, both gas and electric, 2024/2025 models, he even has a selection of large SUVs which is very hard to come by outside of the Logan airport location. He is very kind, helpful and efficient getting you in and out in a clean well maintained vehicle and the other staff I find very helpful as well. I’m very pleased with this location and will continue to rent here.

I've used this Avis few times. Brittany helped my out during today's transaction. She is the best among all from whom I experienced services there. She went above and beyond to fulfill what I needed from today's visit.

Had to get a rental quickly and Mike was a huge help. Got me the car I needed/wanted and the process was quick and clean. Didn't feel pressured as I have at other car rental places and was a great experience.

The car we picked up only lasted a short trip to get dinner from our hotel before the engine light came on. We had to drive to Boston Logan Airport Avis to exchange cars at 10p and didn’t get back to our hotel until midnight. Now that our trip is done and over with, we’ve been slapped with a cleaning fee for excessive sand on the floor mats and trunk. We didn’t go anywhere close to where sand would be probable. We didn’t even use the trunk during the 24 hours we had the car. Absolutely terrible and such a scam. Will not be using Avis moving forward. Update on 07/18/25 after the above review was posted. Let this be a WARNING to all future customers. I’ve screenshotted the reply in case it changes. The lack of professionalism and attention is astounding.

Avis Customer service told me there were gas cars available for rent and actually booked me a gas car to pick up in Waltham MA, but upon reaching the rental office, they switched up and said they only had electric cars of which I agreed to rent and the guy said the car was fully charged up. But after signing and paying up, I went to pick up the electric car in their garage and found out it wasn’t charged up at all after driving a few miles, had to wait for 11hrs to charge this car. I don’t recommend this Avis rental place to anyone! They don’t care about their customers!
