Baker Automotive

Called on Thursday afternoon and I was in on Friday late morning. Service was done quickly while I waited, and got an inspection sticker as well. Charge was on the low end of what I was quoted on the phone. No list of things that I would need to get a sticker. I'm new to the Waterboro area, and I'll be coming back to Baker for all my auto maintenance. Clean, friendly, fast, professional, and very reasonable prices.

They are very fair and honest. I’m able to do most repairs myself so I understand the work involved and what parts cost. When I choose to have them do something I don’t want to do their charge per hour is reasonable and the time involved is accurate

They were friendly and accommodating. When they found an additional issue they gave me a written quote. They are honest and did great work.

Rushed through my car didn’t even test drive it. To make sure it was safe. Now I have to take it to GMC where they actually look at the car. This place just lost business of 3 cars that come for stuff all the time simple as a oil change

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Their customer service person promises she'll find parts you need to get work done there but never even calls you back, and one of their mechanics was so extremely rude (and smug about it too) as to tell me never to bring my antique auto to them ever again, apparently he only likes to work on newer cars! The local auto parts place indicated that lots of people have negative experiences with this place, so it isn't just me. On the surface they seem professional and reliable but scratch the surface just a little bit and you'll find they're not. You've been warned.
