Main Street Automotive, LLC

My daughter recently brought her car to Main Street Automotive for some work, while the work may have been done correctly she was over charged. After googling the part numbers listed on her receipt we found that she was charged more then double the actual price of the parts. Another thing we noticed her work receipt and credit card receipt showed to different amounts, I could be wrong but I believe “credit card fees” are illegal in Maine. Lesson learned we will be going to another shop intown from now on.

Was very helpful with getting my car inspected. Showed me what was wrong, had them fix it and they were very quick to do so. I will definitely be back if my vehicle needs anything.

He looked at our used car for no charge and it turned out to be a great buy! He was very nice and helpful.. we are super grateful for his generosity. He was clearly just being kind. That’s someone I trust!

On a Thursday (1/12/23) when I got into my car and started to reverse, the brakes, when pressed, fell all the way to floor and provided almost no pressure. I had tried to call Baker automotive as I had been going here only because my family raves about them, and for good reason. However, this was an urgent issue that needed to be addressed immediately. I recalled seeing a relatively new auto shop adjacent to where the old cozy corner used to be across from the milk room and decided to give them a call. Working second shift, I called them around 4pm and they were able to get me in Monday morning with repairs completed on Tuesday only because there were no calipers in the surrounding area until that day.
