Barnett Tire Service Inc.

I went to Barnett to get a tire patched today, March 2nd 2026. The technician explained their insurance will not let them patch tires more than 5 years old and this one had a manufactured code of week 11, 2021, 2 weeks shy of 5 years old. Technician said it was within a week so he wasn't going to risk it. I asked AI if insurance carriers were starting to Force this policy and this is what I found: "While there is no nationwide law or widespread, specific insurance mandate prohibiting the repair of tires over five years old, many tire retail chains and service centers have adopted policies refusing to repair or even patch tires that are 6 to 10 years old due to liability concerns." I have purchased a number of tires from Barnett. I'm disappointed.

Owner is super rude! Yesterday I went for a wheel alignment and balancing. They only did the alignment because they don’t balance cars with spacers. I paid almost $200, including almost $70 for missing lug nuts they installed. After leaving, three dashboard lights came on (VSC OFF and two others related to traction). The mechanic ran a check and informed the owner, but the owner refused to verify the car, accused me of bringing it in that way, and was extremely rude. He told me to take the matter wherever I wanted. It was 4 PM and the shop was empty and closed at 5 PM, but instead of helping, he told me to come back the next day essentially asking me to waste another day. Being new to the area I did some googling and decided to give this place a try. Well this is old school customer service. Needed an alignment, getting ready to take a trip north, the owner got me right in with no appointment. Wayne handled the job, he was thorough and knowledgeable along with being personable. Reasonably priced and done right. Don’t hesitate to trust them with your vehicle.

Don't go there expecting them to change tires with new tires YOU bring. I was told they have enough business changing tires THEY sell, and will not change the NEW tires I brought. I took 2 brand new enclosed trailer tires (which after much research i bought online due to good reviews) to them to change. I will never bring any of my money here again.

Couldn’t be happier! Called Monday morning about 2 front tires needing to be replaced. Told me to come by before closing. I showed up 40 minutes before they closed. Talked to Russ! They pulled car in, lifted it up, diagnosed the issue. I left car with them. Tuesday they called me not even 24 hours later to tell me what they were able to do & told me it was ready. With a huge amount of savings. Very reliable, family owned, great service & great work! Highly recommend! Thanks Russ & team!
