Bartow Motors

A week ago I bought a 2008 truck from Bartow Motors. When I was driving it home from the sale, the engine light came on and the truck did not idle smoothly. I was offered an extended warranty at the time of sale, but turned it down...the truck did not act up until I drove it home. I contacted the dealership right away and they would not help me out at all. I certainly understand the reason for an extended warranty, but in this case I believe the dealer should have at least agreed to help out with the repair. Instead I got a lecture on how cars break down all the time...and a thank you very much but we aren't going to do anything for you. I just thought it would be nice for them to offer some assistance - but that was the furthest thing from their mind. Just beware---take a mechanic
