Thank you Basida auto salvage and repair! My check engine light was flashing and engine was misfiring. Frank got my car in right away even tested it on a Saturday and called me with the solution. First thing Monday my car was ready. Frank was nice enough to pick me up from home so I would not have to call a taxi! Frank was straight forward and fair on price. Definitely recommend.

be careful, You can tell him to give you a total BEFORE he starts working on your car and he won’t. He’ll just call you with a big bill, meaning, you don’t get a say on whether or not the work gets done and if you want to pay for the repairs on the car. I would understand a fee for looking at it, but you shouldn’t just start working on someone’s car if they tell you not to and let them know the total first.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Dropped off my vehicle off to be fixed and it was not properly/fully fixed. I had to go somewhere else to fix it. Everything inside my vehicle was stolen and ripped out and no refund was granted to me. Take your vehicles somewhere else if you want it taken care of and protected properly.

He claimed I needed a new engine and I was in no position to ask for a second opinion while fighting fires in the Oregon wilderness. He had my vehicle the entire summer while I was gone for fire season and held it nearly 2 months past the expected date of completion. Every few weeks when I asked for a status update it was always a new excuse. When he finally "finished" I flew in from out of state to Pick up my vehicle and return home and he was somehow still not ready. I too it on a test drive and it immediately broke down as he had not set the timing and there were multiple vacuum leaks which should have been done as part of the job. The n

Just rude. Called about my car yesterday and he yelled and told me it was junk. (I blew up my engine) all I did was ask if my car was in the shop or if it was too far gone. Wouldn’t recommend going there. Ima stick to my home town automotive techs.
