I've always preferred the personal relationship that can come with having independent services and suppliers manage my auto and motorcycle needs. But it can be a "crap shoot" to find someone trustworthy. This was my first time to use Bavarian Auto Repair. I know it will not be my last. We had my wife's 2016 VW GTI towed in with the power steering dead and the dash warning lights looking like a Christmas tree. They received the vehicle the same day I called and spoke with Eric. There would be a half dozen calls over the next few days, he being my point of contact. Within 24 hours I received an electronic quote for the initial analysis via text and the option to move forward.
