Belle Chasse Automotive Care

My husband's AC compressor went out in his '17 Ford F250 so we called a few local shops and everyone pointed us in the direction of Gary May at Belle Chasse Automotive. I checked the reviews and saw a few negatives but we decided to go ahead and bring his truck in to them, anyway, and I am SO GLAD WE DID!!! They gave us a quote as soon as his truck could be seen, ordered the part that was needed, and had his truck ready to go literally two days later. They called to let us know his truck was ready for pick up, the cost was exactly what they had quoted, no surprises. We picked his truck up after work and have had freezing cold AC, no problems whatsoever. I don't know who has had issues with this shop or why, but we were extremely pleased with the entire experience. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely ridiculous. Had my truck 2 weeks when they said it'd only be a few days. And charged me 1,100 dollars and didn't even fix the problem, they actually made it worse. DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE TRUST ME YOULL REGRET IT.

They are not to be trusted. They kept adding more and more and overcharging for parts like $700 for a part that was no more than $80 at five other places. They ordered the most expensive parts and told me they did not charge for labor and I call bull!!! They have lied from the beginning and held my car 8 weeks longer than they said. Don't trust these people. They don't allow for reviews on there website. I'm scared to identify myself or the part because they still have my car hostage. If you have insurance take notice that they can do the job for whatever the amount of your insurance payment your getting will be, not what the job should actually cost. Crooks!! Brought Camaro in for a tune up and heater quit heating well $1700.00 later got car back still no heat and now air conditioner doesn't work so brought it back and was told they were gonna price some other parts and get back to me, never did! Longer story of more run around but plain and simple crooks! So upsetting after years bfr did great work/service for me and thought very reputable and will definitely go back if ever need mechanic...sure did slap me with a reality check of trustworthiness down the drain!

Brought my work truck in that has 250k miles on it. So you know there was tons of wear and tear. They gave me a very long list of problems. They fixed many, many major issues on the truck for a very good, reasonable price. They were super helpful, friendly , and full of knowledge.
