Bellingham Public Auto Auction LLC

I sold 3 vehicles there at 1 auction, one a classic car . I hadn't put the rear wheel skirts on as I didn't know if it would be parked inside or otside and they are valuable and easy to remove. They siad they'd put the rear wheel skirts on which would make it look much sleeker. They didn't. An affiando of that car told me that alone cost me 20% more than I got from the sale. Another car I sold there had a high bid that dissapeared and was replaced by a lower bid that was the final sales price.The 3rd one turned out alght. The price seemed a a little low but acceptable as I didn't have to deal with time wastign buyers. Haven't used them since.

What a awesome group at Bellingham auto auction. Friendly and professional business they even waited past closing time so I could pick up my car!

Like all auctions it pays to know what you are bidding on, the price you're willing to pay and when to quit bidding. The auctioneers do a really good job of presenting the vehicles prior to the sales event and the online auction is very clear and easy to understand. Post auction handover of successful bids is quick and easy. I'd buy here again!

Sorry, I'm not sure how I left a review of 2 stars with no comment. Must have been the old pocket review. This auction is deserving of 5 stars for sure. They seem quite legit and very honest with the details on cars. They usually will say if it has oil leaks or the engine knocks or anything major will be listed in plain view. They give you usually a week to go and view the cars and if you ask, you can get them to start them up. Very friendly staff as well, hopefully ill find the right car again soon.

They sometimes do good, but I feel they should put that if a vehicle has issues post it on the front with the picture, not have to open up multiple tabs and find it, seems deceiving. And at least let buyers know exactly what issues the vehicle may have, by asking the original owners what are the issues of the vehicles. Would be so helpful to buyers because it would save money for buyers from having to get it tested on top of getting the vehicle fixed. Other than that I like the place. I bought a Mercedes Benz and later it had a lot of issues and it was one of the second cars auctioned so I believed it would of been one of the best Cars on lot. So like they say if you can it may be better to find a private owner to buy a car.
