Benton House of Newnan

Excellent, compassionate care with professional staff. Very nice facility and environment. Activities director is the best! There is something to do everyday if you choose to participate, and lunch out in the community at a local restaurant on Wednesday.

Benton House of Newnan is an awesome assisted living facility. The staff and management are always welcoming and friendly. The facility is always neat and clean. It always has a home like feel when you walk through the door. The residents have many activities to choose from. The staff and management always try to include all residents in the many activities that are offered. There is no other place that I'd want my mother to be.

Mom has lived at The Benton House of Newnan for over 3 years. She absolutely LOVES her life there. After my father passed away, mom was naturally devastated and depressed. They were married for more than 65 years, and he died unexpectedly. When she began showing signs of dementia, our family knew she needed to be surrounded by others in similar situations. She needed to be exposed to social activities to keep her mind stimulated. She already had several friends who were residents at Benton House of Newnan. After a family conference, we all agreed she needed to be there too. Her dementia has slowed its progression and she laughs more often. My mom lived there seven years. The staff was very attentive and caring. She felt like family. Harvey, the director, takes an interest and ensures the residents get the proper care they need.

My sister has been a resident in memory care at Benton House for two years. Prior to then she had been participating a few days a week in the DayCare program. She was always comfortable and content so it was an easy transition for her to move in as a resident. The facility feels as a home, not an institution. The administration staff and ALL support staff have always been very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. (I am her guardian) The care staff does a superb job communicating with my sister in a kind, caring and respectful manner. The lead staff, Mildred and Dawn are amazing and they have excellent support associates! I am so grateful for every staff member! I arrive unannounced several times a week and have had no concerns.
