Best Rent A Car

My car rental experience was easy going. Upon arrival at the airport I called the shuttle and they were there within 10 minutes. Darnell and team were very nice and helpful.

Best Rent A Car is the WORST! I would give this company zero stars if I could, that’s what they deserve! I had reservations for a car, and I even got to the location early. Took the lady about an hour to get her system to work to give me a car, and it was awful. Scratches, dents, the emblem was even missing. I was willing to take the car, till I sat in and the lights for low air came on. I went back inside not even 2 minutes, and she made wait another hour while working with the next person, once she was done she handed me keys and told me I could take another car and didn’t even give me new paperwork. I rented a car through Expedia which said the car rental company was Economy Cars. Total misrepresentation. This company is not at the airport. When you call their number they don't answer. It took forever to get a ride from the airport. When we picked up the car they charged a $500 refundable deposit which is unheard of. During the inspection of the car, the trunk/hatch made a terrible sound when opening it. The guy said not to worry about it. 80 miles down the road we discovered the high beams did not work. Could only get the high beams by continuously holding the lever back instead of pushing it forward. Then we discovered that there was absolutely no window washer fluid in the car. Tried to call the company, again they did not answer. I purchased a gallon of fluid and

was so tired of the runaround I got at other car rental companies, with their corporate policies and constantly not having what I reserved. I decided to give Best in Greenville a shot, and I am so glad I did! They made me feel like a valued customer, even though it was my first rental. It won't be my last!

I would rate 0 stars if I could - I never leave reviews but this was THE WORST rental car company. It’s a scam and they’ll lure you in with cheap rates then charge you a bunch of fees they DON’T disclose. It’s not even at the airport which they advertise as being there on Expedia - so false marketing. I had a quick trip and only needed a car only for a couple hours (thank god) and the left mirror didn’t adjust on my car. They didn’t give a shit & did nothing even though that’s a safety concern. Smelled like weed in the back where you return the car. I felt so bad for all the people who were renting for longer durations and have no idea they’re about to owe so much more money than they think. 0/10 experience and truly a scam.
