We purchased a vehicle directly from Michael Searls, owner of Big Lugz Mechanics, based on clear representations that it was “get in and go anywhere ready to drive” and that it had a recently replaced engine with approximately 20,000 miles. Within one hour of purchase, the check engine light came on and the vehicle went into limp mode, making it unreliable and unsafe to drive. After carefully reviewing the paperwork provided at the time of sale, the documentation does not support the claim that the engine had been replaced as described. When we contacted him the following day, he stated that he “didn’t know” and that he only knows what he’s told — despite being both a mechanic and the owner of the shop. I take my car to Biglugz for all my repair needs. The staff is friendly, explains everything clearly and answers any and all questions, and they have the best prices around. They accept all forms of payment (cash, credit/debit, Venmo, Cash app, PayPal, and AfterPay). The repairs were done quickly. Highly recommend this shop to everyone!!

Great shop and people! I prefer to work on my own vehicles. But sometimes you dont have the time or tools. So when I need a hand I go to BigLugz and let them handle the work so I can stay on the road longer and do what I need.

The mechanics at Biglugz work with their customers. They communicated what was wrong with my vehicle and helped me figure out what should be fixed first. Added bonus: they accept afterpay!
