My car died and needed to be towed. Brought it to Bill who has done great work for me before. It looked like it needed a transmission, and he ordered a used one. I agreed to a repair of about $4000. However, when they worked on it to replace the transmission, they found a different problem (broken axle) that could be repaired for about $1400. This repair worked great. Bill is a great mechanic, and is incredibly honest. Most other shops would have done the $4000 repair since that is what I agreed to. Highly recommended.
