Bilmar Starter & Alternator

Is this business permanently closed? A mechanic technician recommended this place to get my alternator checked out. But, the business name and hours have been removed from the building. I don't want to bring down the ratings if they are closed for remodeling or the holidays.

Bilmar closed down 2 years ago after 42 years of being in business the owner Nolton Powell who is my father told me the other day that he is getting bored after being retired for 2 years and has decided to start the business back up but at another location and at a smaller scale I will keep you posted on his progress.

Have used this business several times over the past dozen years and always appreciated their fair pricing and quick professional service. Once, my alternator was not charging while vehicle runnining, but he rechecked on bench and discovered it was fine. He diagnosed a common vehicle short and repaired for only 10.00. Integrity! I highly recommend.

Incredible place that has the best knowledge of charging and starting systems. The three times I have been here he was troubleshooting issues on and off cars. Nolton is a master in his craft. I have had my starter and my generator(alternator) rebuilt here. Great price.

Great service and very knowledgeable. I’ve had 3 alternators and 2 starters rebuilt. Always has them ready quickly, and I haven’t had a problem with anything they have rebuilt. His shop is right out of a movie set. He probably has forgotten more about starters and alternators than most people know. I highly recommend their service.
