I don’t usually leave reviews, but Birdwell Automotive earned it. These folks are as solid as they come. From the minute I walked in, they treated me like I’d been a customer for years. Straight shooters, no nonsense, and they actually care about doing the job right. They had my car fixed up and it’s running better now than it has in a long time. Prices were fair, they explained everything plain and simple, and there wasn’t a single surprise when it came time to pay. It’s hard to find honest, hardworking folks these days, but Birdwell’s still got that old-school pride in their work. If you want your car fixed by people who do it right the first time, this is the place. Five stars all day long.

August 6th I came in because my AC was blowing cold then warm air intermittently. I was told I was a can low on freon so I paid $55.12 for the freon and labor. August 7th my AC stopped cooling completely and I was told to drop our car off on Monday, August 11, 2025, so the AC system could be inspected and diagnosed. I was told that the inspection part would likely take all day. You called me and said the AC compressor control valve had gone bad and I needed a new one. You explained to me that this part is inside the compressor and at least it wasn't the compressor that needed to be replaced. You had our car Monday-Thursday when I received a call saying it was ready (finally). I got a ride to get it and paid the $313.30 on this bill. I drove to Rose Bud to show my Dad the receipt and ou

Good, honest mechanics. The issue is with the business itself. There is almost never a receptionist on site. I have stood in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before and finally just called the shops public number and ONE OF THE MECHANICS stopped working to come answer the phone. I said "hello I'm in the waiting room can someone please come help me" and he came in and did all the receptionist's work to fill out my paperwork and take my keys etc. This is very common. It has happened to me so many times I now immediately call the shops phone upon arriving and seeing theres no receptionist. Most of the time you call, a mechanic has to stop working to go answer the phone and often you'll have a mechanic stop working to check you in or out. *Because theres rarely a receptionist present.*

I will not use anyone else to work on my vehicles. I’ve used Birdwells for many years and he could have charged me much more and I would have been just as happy. I’m just like many other as I don’t have money to throw away but several times I’m thinking my repair must be this or that thinking it’s going to be costly and sometimes it is. However, sometimes when I think it going to be a lot of money it’s a minor repair. Very honest and professional!! Sure, they are usually swamped with repairs but that should tell you something. They are that good! I’ve read a very few bad reviews about Birdwells but you can’t please everybody. Keep up the great work guys.

Once again, the folks here at Birdwell hit it out of the park. They got the Z in with a hard to do starter replacement. Cory had it done in no time and even told me some things to keep an eye on in the future. The only place I'll ever take my vehicles. If you're looking for integrity, honesty, and good work for a fair price. This is your place. Thanks again to Cory and all the folks at Birdwells. Top notch!!
