Black Bear Off-Road

Brad took the time to quote my gear job and answer all questions and the follow up questions I threw at him. I felt comfortable and scheduled the 4.88 gear job on my Jeep. I dropped the Jeep off a few days later. They completed the job in one day and didn’t charge me a penny more than the quote I was given. The Jeep is driving great without any issues. These guys know everything about suspension, gearing, etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Black Bear Off Road again. Thanks again to Brad and Avery for the great work!

I had an excellent experience at this offroad shop! They did an incredible job installing my lift kit, improving the vehicle’s height and appearance, and making everything look flawless. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail throughout the entire process. They also installed new wheels and tires that perfectly complement the lift, enhancing both performance and style. The results exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with the service and craftsmanship. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their offroad vehicle with quality work and expert care! ---

These guys are the best. I can't say how much I appreciate their honesty and problem solving skills. I had what I thought was a major problem with my jeep and they discovered it was something simple and took care of me. They could have easily charged me hundreds of dollars but chose to be good and honest. They have done other work on my truck in the past like lifting, larger tires, regearing and their work has been nothing short of phenomenal. Here is my best advice when working with Black Bear..... Trust their advice and listen to what they have to say or recommend. They are not going to try and upcharge you for the sake of profit. These guys are honest and trustworthy. This will be a lifetime shop for me and Lord willing this place continues to grow and prosper. Honest folks doing ho

My old truck was in desperate need of a suspension refresh. These guys helped me figure out which parts I needed and got me a straight forward, fair quote. Avery was awesome and knocked out the leveling kit and control arm install in less than a day. I had my truck back in less than 24 hrs and its riding much better.

Over the course of 4 major installs, I experienced repeated safety issues, repeated revisits to correct things missed, rented vehicles to deal with his issues, poor workmanship, & a lack of accountability from Black Bear Off-Road. I spent over $14,000 with this shop, & instead of peace of mind, I got ongoing mechanical problems & dangerous oversights. This review is to warn others before they make the same mistake. Most dangerous issue: My front driveshaft bolts were left finger-loose, & rear bolts weren’t torqued. No Loctite, no torque spec. I only found out after another shop inspected the work. Had it come loose at speed, it could’ve ripped through the transfer case or floorboard—or caused a total loss of control. When I sent photos to Bradley, he downplayed it & insisted Loctite was v
