Blackwater towing & Auto repair

Was involved in an accident a couple weeks ago. Our vehicle was towed to Blackwater Towing. The vehicle was drivable there was no cleanup to be done it was driven directly on the ramp truck. Picked up the car two days later was charged for all types of cleanup and disabled vehicle charges which was absolutely false the vehicle ran and drove fine. Over 500.00 for 2 days!!! Have talked to the chief of police of Braintree.This is not the first time they've been investigated and they are actively investigating this tow company. If you see the trucks on the road or show up for some type of AAA call I would definitely call for another tow company. Attorney general has multiple claims against this company as well. Beware!!!!

My goal here is to provide an unbiased account of my recent experience with this company. I also want to note that I’m not sure if the staff on the towing side are the same people who handle the auto repair side of the business. My car was mistakenly towed from my apartment complex. While the rules state that cars without a guest pass can be towed, I had a guest pass displayed. I called the company simply to understand my options and what the process would be once the property manager reviewed the situation. After I gave my vehicle information, the employee’s tone became hostile—likely because someone from the leasing office (not the property manager) had already contacted them. All I wanted to know was what would happen after the property manager made a decision. Instead of explaining,

Towed my car in a lot that had a 3-hour limit, under 3 hours. Told them I have proof and everything. Said there was no manager because the owner had just passed away, which I’m sorry to hear, but sounds like their workers are just doing whatever they want now. No accountability. Stole $240 from me. I see another review with a very similar situation- seems like it’s a thing they’re doing!

Black water towing very nice people the driver and the supervisor was very nice my truck broke down on the highway they were very quick to get to me the driver even took me to an ATM and gave me a ride home after dropping my truck at the repair shop highly recommend them

My car broke down, and I needed a tow truck to get it to a shop. There were repairs that I definitely couldn’t do myself, so I was really stressing about what to do. Brian and Louie stepped in and took great care of everything. They were really efficient and made sure my car was in good hands!
