We purchased our first RV, a class A motorhome, from Blue Compass at Myrtle Beach on 11/13/25. Being RV Newbies, the site team was extremely helpful and proactive in helping us navigate the buying process. All of the staff there actually do work as an extremely customer oriented group. When you walk in the door, someone will quickly greet you with a smile and ask how they can help you. Stacy, Tim, Susan, Denny, and Bradley were exceptional. I was pretty disappointed by the overall service we received at this Blue Compass location for several reasons. -I was interested in a used RV listed online but it had no pictures. I called, texted, and emailed numerous times requesting pictures of the RV and each time, I was sent a stock photo and instructed to make an appointment to come see it. I told the reps I spoke with that we lived two hours away and it would be inconvenient to drive that far for an RV we hadn't seen any pictures of. -Finally we made the appointment and drove the two hours to see it. The staff there were not ready for us, didn't know where the RV was, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for them to figure it out. -The sales rep finally came and got us and walked us all the way to the back, talking on his pho
Having just signed an annual lease at a campground across the street from Blue Compass, we visited the dealership on the advice of a friend. We are new to the RV world abd wanted a dealer that was nearby should we need any service support. When we walked in the door, we were looking at fifth wheels. Denny let us look at several before suggesting a destination trailer that met all of our needs. Not only did the trailer meet our needs, Denny and his sales partner, Stacy, saved us over $75,000 compared to what we were planning on spending at another dealership. The help of Denny and Stacy made this purchase easy and simple. Also, becuase our site is across the street, Blue Compass will deliver it to our site and set our rig up for a very reasonable cost.
I can tell you I would definitely buy from them again. Their customer service is beyond excellent. I bought my camper back in August and just camped for the first time at Ocean Lakes. I called them up to ask Mike the salesman if he could come to the campground to show me again how everything worked. He came right away without hesitation and walked me through the process. I could not have asked for better customer service. Then he left and came back to put my plate on because I did not have any tools. He gave me his card and said call him if I have any other questions. I could not have asked for any better customer service. What that means is they just don't sell you a camper and forget about you. We bought our RV from Blue Compass and then put it on consignment with them after putting about 5k miles on it. Everything worked perfectly when it was dropped off. Now it's been sitting there for a couple months because they have it listed for almost 20k MORE than we initially paid. Husband went to winterize it and nothing works (all sorts of electrical issues, like the slide won't close, water pump has no power) and they're telling us they will invoice us for any work even though we bought the warranty from and it's broken under their watch. really dissapointed with this dealer. id go elsewhere next time.
