Blue Compass RV St. Augustine

I was down in Florida for a month, they listed my dream van for sale. I had a tight deadline, they were able to sell me the van and winterize it before I brought it back to PA. I left the dealership and immediately drove the camper 1200 miles into single digit temperature. Everything was setup correctly for my trip, the techs educated me on how to use everything before hand and it really made sure I was prepared for my trip. Shawn is a great salesman who genuinely cares, he has a ton of experience in the field and you could tell. This was my first time buying a camper, I was slightly concerned buying used but the techs ensured everything was working as it should. I'm happy to report after a few weeks of use and 1200 miles everything is working as it should.

I went to Blue Compass in St. Augustine Florida and talked with Mike in the service department, Mike was very helpful and accommodating, I took my RV in for awning repair and two side out toppers, Mike placed the order on Wednesday and while I was there I asked if Mike could have a technician look at my door while I was there, Randy the technician adjusted the door for me and it now works better than it did the day I drove it off the lot. The following Monday Mike called and let me know the parts were in so we made an appointment for the following day I drove up to St. Augustine Tuesday morning and they were very prompt putting on a new awning arm and two slide out toppers very high quality work, I was in at 9:30 am and back on the road at 1:30. We just want to brag on the amazing team at The St Augustine, FL Blue Compass RV. Merec McNeill was the salesman we used to help find our daughter a small camper 2 years ago and he was so kind and professional that we knew we wanted to use him when we were ready to make a trade. Thankfully, we found our camper, but it was at the Charleston, SC store. Merec worked out a deal for us on our trade and we were able to get the unit we wanted. All the team there is fantastic! While Merec was off one day, salesman Shawn also worked hard at helping us. Sales manager, Jared, was easy to work with and was honest and fair. We purchased our 6th RV from Blue Compass RV, not all 6 were from Blue Compass. The sales experience was good and chatting with the service was also good. We downsized campers from a 42 foot fifth wheel to a 25 TT as it is just the two of us. Again sales person was great. Day of the walk thru, we were told because we did not purchase an expensive unit, the walk thru would be quick and no care packages. All other camper purchases we have made in the past came with things like water hose, sewer lines and what not. When I asked about that, I was told "you purchased a cheap unit. Upgrade your unit and we will cater to you". I'm all about customer service, and I understand "my cheap unit", but please do not degrade me or judge me of how I want to spend monies... When my wife and I walked in the door at Blue Compass RV, we were greeted by someone at the front desk who introduced us to our salesman, Merec. From the very beginning, Merec was friendly and super helpful without any pressure to buy. He answered our questions in a straightforward manner which felt honest and sincere. He took lots of time with us, showing us all the trailers we might be interested in, without rushing us. He was even excited to show us some of the "big rigs" that we knew we were not going to buy but that we just wanted to see inside. He did not try to sell us something we didn't want.
