Bob and his team were very helpful replacing a worn out, air leaking, tire patch on my rental car. He recommended getting a replacement vehicle as a supplemental tire gash on another tire sidewell was dangerous. He was both honest and quick. 5 Stars for Bob.

I needed a quick check of some possible road damage on my car. The got me in a few minutes, put the car on the rack and found that there was nothing really wrong. Great service.

After having all maintenance and routine work performed on my vehicle for 8 years at the same garage (a national chain) I made a tragic error this past November 2024. I noticed a leak from the front of my vehicle and also needed a state of Maine inspection. When I attempted to make an appointment with my regular garage they were booked several weeks out. I made the epic error of contacting Bob's Auto Repair Inc. and arranged service over the phone for a diagnosis of the leak and inspection. The following was my experience: Bob's Auto contacted me to inform me that the leak was a transmission line but that to pass Maine inspection I also needed front left and right upper control arms and both ball joints. Strange since my normal garage never mentioned this issue. Estimate was between $1,60

I am traveling on vacation over 1000 miles from home and pulling a fifth wheel. A wrench light came up on my truck dash. I checked everything as best I could and couldn't find anything. The light was still on so I went to Bob. He stopped what he was doing and immediately checked the codes on my computer. He even lubricated my hood latch for me. He couldn't find anything either but I was so impressed with how he was willing to stop what he was doing and help me. He was a very nice guy and very reasonable on his diagnostic charge. I highly recommend him for your mechanic needs.

Bob is simply the best! The night before we were supposed to leave bar harbor, the shock mount completely broke off. I called the next morning and he got me in immediately and seemed to actually care about our situation. He overnights the parts, and we were on our way by 1pm the next day and fixed our cab drivers flat tire too. 🤪 Thanks so much!!!
