they charge $150 an hour for labor and diagnostics. They charged me a full hour rate when the work only took 30 minutes for diagnostics. They were unable to provide documentation supporting the labor and diagnostic rate. They failed to provide AAA services to me in adequate timing. They were very unprofessional. I had to cancel AAA services they are the only ones in the area who do AAA and don’t use them if you can avoid it. They refused to tow my car to a dedicated auto repair shop. They tried to overcharge me for labor and parts. Glad I did not service my car with them.

Had the best experiences with them so far. Easy to book with and generally hassle-free. I provided parts and they did an excellent job repairing what I asked them to. Their rates are very fair, especially given other mechanics in the area, and their student discount and shuttle for students is very convenient. Staff helpful, friendly, and honest. Will be back in the future for a variety of other services. Overall highly recommend.

I would not even put in a 1 star, my service was so bad. They overcharged, did not do a good job, tried to get me to 'fix' thiings that weren't a problem, and left parts of what they did fixed unfinished. Had to go to my regular mechanic to correct all the problems. Be very cautious if you use them. AAA should not even have them on their list!

I am writing this review on behalf of my 71-year-old mother, who does not use the Internet. She recently went to Bob’s for a vehicle inspection, where she was told she failed and was presented with a repair estimate of $2,200. According to Bob’s, she needed new control arms with ball joints, as well as front and rear brakes. As anyone would, she sought a second opinion. Tip Top Tire examined the vehicle and found that her front brakes, control arms and all ball joints were in perfect condition. The only legitimate issue was her rear brakes, which they replaced for $465 INCLUDING the inspection—a fraction of what Bob’s demanded. They have a great price on Propane fill-up. Also, I have had a good experience with towing after an accident. All around, convenient location and services were up to par.
