We have been bringing our cars to Andy for over 10 years now, and I am a bit reluctant to leave a review because I am afraid of more people knowing about the amazing work Andy provides. He takes pride in the work he delivers, and will explain as much as you want to know about your vehicle. If you need a mechanic you can trust, Andy is your guy. We tried many other places mainly for convenience, and we always come back to Andy, disappointed by other places, that charge more and don’t offer the same level of expertise and care.

Andy was a great resource in a time of need. He fit us in during Thanksgiving week. We were nearly 1000 miles from home with a vehicle which had been in a minor front end collision. Needed to confirm that we were in a vehicle which was safe to drive back home. Andy reviewed the conditions and confirmed only cosmetic damage, and topped off some fluids. He also recommended some other periodic work we should complete after our return home.

Seemed like a really good guy the garage is just him so he is happy with the customers he gets. He has used cars of all values and he is honest will tell you any problems and you can fix them or he can no wait gave me his time and helped with my needs

I am a DIY with cars, so primarily I have been relying on Andy for state inspections and tire swaps. Recently though, given winter conditions and scale of the job (steering rack/lines replacement), I just gave my elderly minivan for Andy to fix. All is good now, and he also alerted me to extra fixes I should do (DIYed now) in the nearest future. Even though it is just a small shop (so do not expect dedicated receptionist, waiting area with sofas, etc) it is always fun for my DIY soul to visit Andy and get my cars bettered by him.

Always a positive experience getting my car serviced or inspected at DG Hughes. Highly recommended!
