Brake Away

Travis and his crew are top notch ! He completely replaced the rear brakes on my son's car quickly and at a fair price. He even called to advise that the car did not require replacement of the entire rear system and offered to replace just the parts that were most likely compromised-but we opted to have them replace it all. Another local shop quoted a price that was about DOUBLE what Brake Away charged. Travis was recommended by name from a former Ithaca resident that spoke VERY highly of him. Thank you guys for the great work, amazing customer service and fair pricing. These are the guys to trust when your car has broken down, because they are the Good Guys. Keep up the great work !

Im writing this review a month after my visit. My tires kept losing air, so i brought my car to Break Away.They were very quick to diagnose that I needed new valve stems. I was there for 30 minutes max! After a month, i can definitely tell that they knew what they were talking about and didnt over charge me. The owner, Travis, and mechanic, Josiah, were super friendly! Highly recommend!!!

Travis and his team were extremely helpful and pointed me in the right direction when buying the right mirror for my car, saving me money in the process. Travis even installed it for free and was incredibly professional and friendly throughout. Highly recommend!

Great experience. I brought my car in for what I thought was a small issue, but they took the time to really dig into it and helped me find the actual cause of my engine problems. The team was incredibly caring, patient, and honest and they explained everything clearly and never tried to upsell me on unnecessary work.
