Mavis Discount Tire

Been coming to Mavis for the past few years and have always been pleased with the service! The staff are helpful and friendly, prices are good, and work is done in a timely fashion. Today I brought my car in for a last minute appointment because parts of my undercarriage were dragging, and they rescrewed everything up for free! Super appreciative!

I had a very serious issue after an oil change at Mavis Discount Tire in Ithaca. On October 27, I brought my Ford Explorer Police Interceptor 2020 for an oil and filter change. About a month later, the engine warning light came on several times, and once the car warned me to stop driving due to engine noise. Since Mavis could not see me the same day, I went to another garage (Breakaway). They found that the oil filter was bent and not replaced, oil had leaked extensively, and the oil contained metallic particles indicating engine damage. When I returned to Mavis, they admitted they used the wrong oil (luckily the oil they used was indicated on the invoice) and did not replace the oil filter, despite charging for it. Than, they only replaced the filter and oil and told me to keep driving

Needed an urgent pre-purchase car inspection. They squeezed me in within a couple hours, got me out of there in just under an hour, then when I went to pay told me it was free. The store manager, Matt, was extremely nice and patient explaining everything to me. Amazing! They definitely got themselves a new customer.

Hey, Folks never review thing but, I had to do this, because, this Mavis Tire is absolutely amazing, they gave best price of my life time experience! They are so host and kind hearted people, I love them. Because, actually I was during NYC and this is 4 hours from my home. I was soooo much worried but, Oh my GOD they put me back on the road with best price ever!!! I thanked them.

Super good survive with great professionalism and friendly staff. I got a bolt in one of my tires, and it was already kind of late in the day, but they said I can just come along and they got it. It took them less than 20 minutes to fix it and to my surprise they did it as a favor. Again I really appreciate their service and I will definitely recommend to who ever need it.
